Hvar Hills Wins Four New International Awards at the 2026 International Wine Challenge 🏅🍷
The 2026 International Wine Challenge brought major recognition for Hvar Hills. At one of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions, our wines received four medals, further confirming the quality, authenticity, and potential of Hvar’s unique terroir.
We are especially proud of the success of Pošip Filigran 2025, which, on its first appearance on the international stage, earned a Silver medal and an impressive 93 points. This result demonstrates how a combination of tradition, carefully selected vineyard sites, and a contemporary approach to winemaking can create a wine that impresses even the most discerning experts.
A Silver medal was also awarded to Pošip Surreal 2024, with 90 points, while Prošek Risus Bijeli 2022 and Pharos Maximvs 2020 received Bronze medals. Each of these wines reflects a part of the character of Hvar Island, its climate, soil, and rich winemaking heritage.
The results achieved by Hvar Hills at the 2026 International Wine Challenge are further confirmation that Croatian wines are gaining increasing recognition on the international wine scene. We are proud to represent Hvar and Dalmatia among the world’s finest wines and to continue building a story that brings together local tradition and outstanding quality.
