Hvar Hills Winery at Dalmatian Wine Icons

At the Dalmatian Wine Icon event , held in Zagreb, Hvar Hills Winery proudly presented its best labels, which stood out among the wines from all over Dalmatia. As one of the exhibitors, we presented wines that are a true treasure trove of autochthonous Dalmatian varieties, witnessing the tradition of winemaking that dates back to ancient times. Our wines, which mature and develop over the years, are recognized by experts and have won high marks at numerous competitions.

We displayed three labels from our winery, including red wines that we are particularly proud of, as well as aged white wines and rosés. During the event, visitors had the opportunity to meet our winemakers in person, which raised the whole experience to a new level.

This year, as part of the event, special workshops were held, including one led by Clive Pursheouse, editor for USA from Decanter, and visitors had the opportunity to meet distinguished experts such as Ivan Barbić, Master of Wine, and Thomas Vaterlaus, editor-in-chief of the oldest of the Swiss wine magazine Vinum.

This unique wine event was an excellent way for all wine lovers to explore the wealth of Dalmatian varieties and terroir, while also serving as a perfect opportunity to choose wines before the holidays and other special moments that come at the end of the year.
